East or West coast offense we just need something productive.
What blueprint? Let Deon Sanders shut half the field and let Young throw to Rice, Watters and Brent Jones? Or was it the 90 season when it was to not f**k up what Walsh did a year prior?

The westcoast offense ties the QB's footwork to the QB's progression. I don't see any of that in our offense whatsoever. Also staples of the Walsh offense were bootlegs, slant routes, and screens (Holmgren used more screens in Green Bay though) all of which are pretty much absent from our offense. The previous offense was scrapped prior to this season and that offense had some wco routes but it wasn't called often. I think if someone works with Kap on his footwork that the WCO would actually help with his ability to read the defense.

He has to have time to read a defense. and majority of the reads he makes and every other elite qb makes are pre snap
he makes his pre snap reads right more times than wrong but usually doesn't have consistent time to move on if that read is taken away.
His footwork hasn't been a problem he's had great footwork honestly
we just don't do the things you're talking about. we don't run screens we don't do enough bootlegs we run the same slants and not variations with depth
the wco if we ran it now, kap could probably run at an elite level
we don't run anything at all to speak of which is why we don't have anything at all to show for it.
and that's been a trend the entire 4 years here not just this season
