Everyone wants to talk about Harbaugh and a toxic locker room?

If the OL didn't give up the most sacks in the NFL we probably would've won at least 2 or 3 more games. It's not because of Kaep either, the OL was atrocious this year.

Injuries. Better teams would do worse with as many injuries as we have. You can believe the "Toxic" b******t all you want, but Willis and Bowman dont let Lynch run like that on us. In fact Borland doesnt either. Gore and Hyde both out early enough. O-Line is all beat up. Deep balls? I dont even remember who our CBs are.
The 49ers didnt lose this season, because the 49ers are on IR and inactive. Some practice squad nobodies and backups lost us this season. I feel confident that Harbaugh will be right here next year. We probably wont have Roman, but im fine with that.
-same QB as last year
-improved WR corps
-a substitute for Gore in the running game
-almost the same o-line as last year though one can give SOME blame to the injury situation but only for the second half of the season. Yet, the o-line was poor from first gameday on in general.
-Besides Vernon, Vance was still there to catch some passes which he can do on a solid basis for sure.
So, sorry but injuries on the offensive side of the ball haven't played a major role at all. No excuse here.

hard to evaluate all of these other pieces that are constantly evaluated on here. It's so bad.

Every player on record has said they love, support and appreciate Harbaugh as the Head Coach. Nobody in the Front Office has reflected that same love. It's pretty clear where the "toxicity" exists....

Can't praise Vic Fangio for coaching up the backups on D who stepped in for injured starters and in the same breath blame injuries on the OL for the incompetence of our entire O.
That's totally ignoring the group of men responsible for Teaching, Preparing and Motivating the Offense.....aka COACHES.

Yes, it's Baalke's fault since the 3rd stringers aren't All-Pro's... ...Seattle missed just a couple guys and they fell off early on in the season, this team is missing half its defense and the OL has no been healthy at all this season. There's no way you can draft or prepare for the sort of injuries the 49ers have experienced and they held it together pretty well for the most part.
I'm talking about guys with torn acls he drafts

Yet they have no problem using two locker rooms. How many players do you think are going to go on record and say "yeah, f**k the coach." Its clear from comments that guys have made about the "scheme" that there is something very much amiss in regards to the offense and the players not buying into it.

Like who exactly. Carradine who had 2 sacks today. Lattimore who was a late 4th round comp pick, a worthy risk since he had 1st round talent, he didn't pan out, but most guys picked in that area of the draft are out of the NFL within a year or two anyways....so exactly where is the problem. Who are these masses of injured players that Baalke has taken. Millard who was a late 7th rounder, picked in a point in the draft when most of those guys don't even make their teams at all. Thomas who will provide OG depth in case Iupati walks and was rated as an early 2nd rounder.
I'm not seeing this massive problem worth getting hysterical over.

I doubt there is any one "real reason" we've sunk so low.
It's a combination of many things.
This is exactly what happens to your team when:
-you're plagued by injuries to starters and all-pro players
-your QB can't make good reads or accurate throws
-your OC calls a very predictable playbook
-your receivers drop big passes and don't show up
-your O-line is swiss cheese and terribly inconsistent
-your return game is nonexistent
All this adds up to insurmountable obstacles.

Here it is!! We should have never gotten rid of Alex Smith and it is not due to the play of Kap but more of the play and contract of Alex Smith. Alex Smith would never require a huge contract like Kap and would still deliver better results. The disconnect between front office and Harbaugh starts and stops with Kap. I am not here to promote either but merely stating that when we went forward with Kap we lost this team and what it had become under Harbaugh. I don't blame Harbaugh nessecarilly as Kap looked like the future with his play early but that has run it's course and it appears he is not the answer from what I have seen. With the injuries we have seen I would not expect any coach to have success but still believe in this team and Harbaugh. We may not have him next year but going forward we need a savior to this franchise and I believe we need a difference maker. Kap may not be that guy and due to Harbaugh believing in Kap based on his pride as a coach may have cost him his job. My best scenario for this team would be to keep Harbaugh but get the front office and the coaching staff on the same page on the direction we need to go to have success. Tough year but please don't blow this team up as we have to much talent on this team. Seattle will run their course as well and we need to fix this. It is fixable and we just need to focus on that. Get away from pointing fingers and look at it in the sense of creating competition for Kap. Need another option at QB to see where we can go and to see if we can pull out the play that we have seen from Kap early. Go niners!!! Hate some Seahawks!!

Injuries played a part, but it's much deeper than that. Defense played well, even though they had most of the injuries.

Kaepernick is a horrendous QB who can't do anything post snap--he's the reason this team sucks. Harbaugh will go elsewhere and wildly succeed while we get stuck with dumb arrogant cheap ownership, a scrub of a new head coach and a moronic overgrown petulant teenager of a QB who can't even throw it away the right way.
Injuries don't prevent fangio from fielding a stellar D despite being decimated. Its kaepernick fault above all else.
