If Kyle Orton takes a dump on Aaron Rodgers again, that means the Packers will have to go win out to get the home field. So Rodgers would have to play week 17 against a hypothetically collapsing Lions team.
That will have to happen in order for us to make the playoffs.

If we win out that puts us at 10 wins. We would have the tie breaker over Philly and Dallas but one has to win the division. We likely wont hold the tie breaker with the Seahawks or Lions so if both win 1 more game we are likely out. Even if the Packers lose out at 10 wins we lose the tiebreaker. Our 6-4 conference record will do us in. We pretty much knocked ourselves out with the Rams and Raiders loss. Win those we are 9-4 and right in the thick of it.

-We need Cowboys OR Philly to lose 2/3 (they play each other) AND
-Sea to lose to 1 of last 2 (Ari, Rams)
None of this would matter if we lose today obviously.
Very, very unlikely

How in the F did Balke not get one of these Delicious Rookie Wide Recievers with ALLLLLLLLL those 49er draft choices?????? And don't sit there and tell me about Bruce Ellington, who at best is a 3rd down smallish WR.

That would be a silver lining
I hope so too. But not likely. If Greenbay loses today(which looks like a possibility) Seattle will control their own destiny for the number one seed. If that happens, you can bet the farm that chickens are in the super bowl
