The failure is all on Harbaugh, Roman, Baalke, and Kaepernick, in whatever proportions you want it. But the owner?

Son, you don't know what a bad owner is. Go talk to a Washington Redskins fan if you want to hear about an incompetent, brain dead, meddling, piece of trash owner.

You dont know how good it is son.

Lol, this. Roman goes potato, Kaepernick regresses, Harbaugh pisses everyone off and somehow the ownership is getting the blame......
But he was born was a silver spoon....

Hate to break it to you, but Harbaugh is Singletary 2.0. He's a cheerleader. It's glaringly obvious the players won't play for him, and he's out coached nearly every game.

His brother certainly owns him. I think he is a very good coach but he is certainly like Singletary on steroids, a rah rah motivational guy who thinks he can gut out every win. Precision and detailed gameplanning go out the window in favor of a blue collar, punch them harder than they can hit us mentality.

Thats always been a winning strategy but when you dont win or get outcoached, it tends to wear on guys and doesnt work nearly as well as it did in the 70s and 80s now that the approach to the game has gotten damn near scientific.

I remember that ESPN article talking about how Harbaugh barely ever practiced two minute drills........thus its fitting that this teams season has basically ended twice in a row on failed two minute drives.

Its stuff like that which is the difference between winning Superbowls and being just happy to be in the playoffs.

New smarter fans that don't think the sky is falling when their team has a bad year and wants to fire everyone and blow things up.
Roman/Mangini out, add legit deep threats.

The thing is, this offense hasnt been working for 4 seasons, they still struggle in the redzone, they still struggle with the playclock, other than the initial period in 2011 and the read option with Kaepernick as a first time starter there have been more valleys than peaks.

Bad season or not, you bring back this entire staff next season...exactly what reasons do you have in being optimistic that this offense will all of a sudden become consistent and effective? I have none. Is four seasons not long enough for them to get their s**t together on offense?

If they can somehow get a competent QB in there they might not need to rebuild. Maybe Jay Cutler, Eli Manning or Mark Sanchez? None of these are ideal options, but they're all MUCH better than useless Kaepernick.

Eli Manning would flourish in a new environment. He has good years left and Giant management would listen.

He is expensive, overrated and prone to throwing interceptions. And he is a dick. No thanks.

Right, people go crazy when Kaepernick gas a 3INT game, image the MB with Eli has a few of his signature 5INT games....

The overall record and and success. Also they have beaten the best coaches in the league.

Two Super Bowl wins and played the last few years with no offensive line. Learning a new system with different mechanics. He just needs a change, but it will never happen. I figure Kap to have the first half of next season to rebound, hopefully he progresses. If not do we want a rookie backup?

I agree. The offense has consistently been unable to put drives together when the game is on the line late in the game. We should have won the Super Bowl game and the two NFC championship games. We had ample opportunities to win those games but the offense couldn't make the plays when they needed to be made. This season has been the same problem.

This. You build through the draft, and the qb position is not an exception. But, you must have the coaching to teach the position. Defensive coaches ruin young qbs, like AS and Sanchez, and good offensive minds develop them, like Andy Reid and Chip Kelly.

And Jay Cutler is much like what we have now but a tad less athletic.

why do people still think eli is the eli who won the super bowls? can we just keep ck, get a better back up, hell even jesus tebow,, or maybe the guyi with the browns who lost his job to johnny money, remember all we need is a back up who we can trust and that is something not on our current roster in my opinion,, draft a nice guy in the draft.... this is all predicated on the fact we will have a new coach, oc and qb coach who can work with these guys to get them better and to help get ck out of whatever funk he is in? cutler is also not a team player in my opinion, english described eli to a t and sanchez is just,,,, oh why even bother
