I don't recall many good surprises if there were refresh my memory.

Actually, if we finish 10-6 we just need the Rams to beat the Cards this week and for the Cowboys or Eagles to finish 1-2 (strong chance), under that scenario we are in no matter what happens in the rest of the games and the winner of the cards vs seahawks game will win the division and the loser is most likely out of the playoffs.
Is it just me or is that very possible?
I'm just banking on the W/L trend to continue this year lol

WE are actually right on Schedule (we expected a Split) with Seattle

Ravens lost last 4 of their 5 games and we know what happened. Very unlikely it happens but every year a team does seem to get "lucky" and into playoffs. Last year it was the Chargers

The odds are against us winning another game. But it could happen.

So they are gonna just catch fire in Seattle after 13 games of sh*t offense?? Yeah okay, and boy I sure hope Santa Clause eats the cookies I make for him this year.

The year the colts won the SB they were giving up 5+ yards run defense the entire season. Their defense out of nowhere stepped up late in the year (even made key stop against Brady to get into SB). Things happen all the time. I'm not saying it's guaranteed to happen w the Niners but every year a team that's outside looking in somehow gets the "breaks" to sneak in.
So for being last in TDs this season...a great football player we know said "Stats are for losers"

Only way we have a prayer of winning IN Seattle is if Lynch goes down with an injury & Wilson gets a concussion!

I wonder what's our record under Harbaugh as heavy underdogs?

The best case scenario I can think of is that the Niners actually come out and compete with the cawks uckers and at least not get blown out. Maybe even score a TD?????? Maybe keep it fairly close, but ultimately in the end I am sure it will end in disappointment. I honestly have considered not even watching, but no matter what, I cant bring myself to not watch a Niner game. Even tho watchin the shecawks makes me wanna puke in my own mouth, I will still watch. Who knows, hopefully we can witness a devastating injury to richard sherman that can finally bring him down to earth and maybe humble him (is that even possible??) a bit.
If it's a blowout, they should just throw a deep pass towards sherm, and have Anquan or VD or both, just come out of nowhere and level him as hard as they can. Then pull out some turkey legs and sit on the midfield logo and eat. Would be entertaining at least

My optimism is slowly coming back. I'd like to think that the team was overlooking the Raiders in feverish anticipation over the following weeks rematch with Seattle.
Hell, the Raiders clearly over looked the Rams (52-0) in order to play us.. Funny how every teams SuperBowl is when they play the 49ers.

So If we somehow win out, what needs to happen in order for us to make the playoffs?

other playoff teams to lose complete interest in their season... and for those teams to pull Roman's in their offensive game "plan".

Arizona loses out and we win out and we will probably make it. AZ plays Rams tonight and seattle next week.

How accurate is this? I can totally see Zona losing out.. They will lose to Rams tonight in a classic revenge spot for Jeff Fisher.. Seattle will beat them next week and then we have them the last week..
So the question is.. If Niners win out and Arizona loses out.. Are we in ???
