Who's your guy? I'm leaning towards Sanchez + one of those draft picks. Maybe Petty. But how can you be a good QB in the NFL with a name like Bryce Petty? It's a long shot. I've been burned before by drafting QBs with terrible names (Jim Druckenmiller).

Although I'm really tempted to see if NY would trade Eli for Kaepernick straight up.

TRUTH

Kap is the 49ers QB - period. He isn't going anywhere anytime soon. If the 49ers draft a QB it won't be before round 3. With the amazing offensive coaching staff we have what are the odds we can develop a drafted QB? With an offensive line that has had pass protection problems a non mobile QB could be a sitting duck in the pocket.

Kap is going to be the QB in 2015 and probably 2016. if he doesn't develop he could be out for 2016 or beyond but he will be the 49ers QB next season. Bank it.
