No rebuild. Just need a new QB.
I'm frustrated with the kid right now too. But talent is not the issue. It's decision making. Decision making is heavily influenced by coaching.
When Kap is good, he survey's the field and throws to the open receiver. He's accurate and he gets the ball out fast. He has played like this several times this year and it has been very encouraging to me. But he only plays like this when there is not much pressure on him. When the situation is such that we need a big play he tends to force the ball where he want's it to go instead of where it should go. He lets his ego get the best of him and tries to be a hero instead of just doing his job like everybody else on the field. Lots of young QBs did it.
It should be a coach that steps in and corrects this behavior. Instead we have s**tty offensive coaches that are more worried about their own egos and their own careers than about improving their QBs play.

Did you watch Vic Fangio defense tonight! And you want this guy? Kevin Sumlin come on down! Can you imagine what he could do with Kap!

Yes. He's proven to be able to put young defenders in a position to succeed and has been able to field a very formidable defense despite a lot of turnover an injuries in recent years. His play calling has also been excellent. That's what you want from a coach.

You guys, realize how hard it us to get a good qb? If we "let kap go" we will not be able to bring someone in who is nearly as good as kap. Only saving grace is the descalatores in kaps deal. He'll be making minimum wage by 2017
We won't be able to bring in another average QB like Kaepernick? NFL draft is full of them
