The team has to make some tough decisions about who they try to lock up in the future. Given how some of these guys have performed, it's getting easier.
Iupati- still an impact player when they're running the ball, but he still struggles in pass protection
Crabtree- as good as he looks during brief stretches, he can't do it over the course of a season
Boone - maybe it's missing the preseason, but he hasn't looked like that consistent big money player
VD - injured and has really had a down year
Lattimore - gone and time to replenish the backs
Kilgore - he looked like he could handle the job and might have been the most consistent lineman
Lynch - loads of potential at a low price
Cox - really stepped up and looks to belong
Guys like Dial and Tank haven't had the PT to distinguish themselves yet.

We have the rest of the season to see who can step up. Next week may be Patton's chance to see the field
