You look flabby and slow. Boone looks anything but flabby or slow. He's just getting back into playing shape and showed good speed on rollouts last week.
He also fell over pulling and missed blocking assignments. Not to mention getting beat by pass rushers all year. He's been bad this season. If he's not in shape by now then he's not motivated enough. At this point Looney is probably just as good as he. Johnathan Martin probably is too.
I agree that the 49ers are going to end up letting both Iupati and Boone walk given the young depth they have on the interior OL (Kilgore, Looney, M.Martin, Thomas) and Looney played well at RG when Boone wasn't in the lineup. Still, it's a stretch to say he's better, remember, it's not just about who's better early in the year when Boone is obviously rusty from no TC/PS action, it's about who's going to be best for the playoff/SB run, my $$'s on Boone. Also, saying Jonathan Martin is better than any starter is just stretching the truth, JMart sucks.
