The Miami Dolphins added LaMichael James on Tuesday in an effort to bolster their running back corps. James was waived by the San Francisco 49ers after playing just two offensive snaps in Week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys. The former second-round pick from Oregon is more of a receiving threat out of the backfield than a pure running back, and has also been a dynamic punt and kick returner during his two-plus seasons in the NFL (averaged 10.9 yards per punt return and 28.4 yards per kickoff return).

Good luck Dolphins! Maybe he'll get past the line of scrimmage for you as an RB

lol

Because he's a recently cut 49er and someone (mistakenly) thought it'd be relevant in Niner talk.

Case closed. You're welcome.
Dolphins probably think he can be Reggie Bush 2.0
His last dynamic play was in 2011 when he ran that kick back vs New England to set up the winning TD

He had a solid TD run against the Falcons in the NFCCG too. That's about it though.

He pretty much walked into the endzone on that TD.
