In a team sport with as many moving pieces as football, you can't conclusively conclude that a single coach is 100% culpable for our shortcomings. Teams win together, they lose together.

Don't agree at all. Coaches get fired all the time; position coaches. If you aren't getting it done with the outside backers or under-achieving with the tight-ends who are all-world, then you need to make some changes. Harbaugh is the closest thing to a players coach as you can get, and he knows the feeling all too well like it was yesterday when he lost his job. Its too close of a painful feeling that he doesn't want to place blame or burden on "his guys". He will take the fall for them and its hurting us.

Explain the terrible time management if you want to call it that. Whos accountable for that? What about replay coordinator? I want a Harbaugh that gets pissed at his team and holds them responsible but hes not going to.

Firing coaches now will not do anything

lets wait another couple years. Maybe clean house after willis is over the hill?

That's your opinion.

To me, it puts people on notice. And one will start looking at themselves more for accountability. Goes right along with benching a player who was out on the field one week but may be inactive for not getting his job done beforehand.

...Kyle Fuller anyone?

yes that would be the one. they wouldn't have even gotten there if they kept their oc

looks like that was true for us last year huh?
I agree that some changes need to be made. The question is who do they bring in at OC and DC? Do they give Ed Donatell a shot? Or do they give Jim Tomsula a crack at it? I honestly think we have the best position coaches in the game on the defensive side of the ball and think we can keep them there. I'd like to see new WR coach as well.

Let us be real, the team should have one, two or even three Super Bowl rings the last three years. We have none. Playing all those games over that span takes a physical toll, not to mention the emotional drain of not getting it done. If Harbaugh finds a way to get it together this year he deserves a max. Should he shake it up?

Wow ... that is keeping it 'real'? The other coaches, players are getting paid to win too you know.

NT is known to meltdown, even after wins. But people have called for Roman's head for two years now.

Dangerous thinking here. While you don't want to throw the baby out with the bath water and fire Harbaugh, you need him to be accountable. Flat out sticking with what has worked in the past regardless of the circumstances is a recipe for disaster. A few quotes come to mind here....

1. "Past performance is not a guarantee of future results".
2. "Definition of Insanity. Trying to do the same thing over and over and expecting different results"

They wouldnt have gotten there if Flacco wouldnt have gotten insanely hot during the stretch and playoffs. Then there offense went right back into the toilet the next year. Face it, Baltimores offense that year was a fluke. They didn't hire some offensive genius to replace their existing coordinator. Flacco just got hot.

Roman wasn't responsible for our loss to the Giants. If you believe he was, then you are really trying too hard to scapegoat him.
