Shut Up already and keep your job. If you are in the limelight and If you don't have anything nice to say ...don't say it as it can only go one way. It will get shredded by somebody.
Media complains Kap, Harbaugh don't say anything (that they can rip to shreads) I say give them nothing

Oh, you're privy to the facts of the RayMac case? Please do share...

Exactly.

Exactly what? The only facts I know are the same as you. He was arrested for domestic violence and the woman in question had bruises. He should be off the field with pay until they find out all the details. Your suspending Robinson to save face but taking an even bigger chance Of backlash if McDonald is charged and convicted. That to me is hypocritical. Like Panthers owner Jerry Richardson crying at a domestic violence ceremony but letting Greg Hardy who already has been convicted but not punished by the team or league play on Sundays.

He was arrested for 'suspicion' of DV.

Ok.."Suspicion" not to be an arse but how does that change my point? I mean I could sit here and say "felony" and it's still the same point

The 49ers (and the Pac-12 Network) suspended Robinson because he made inflammatory comments about Rice's wife. I feel pretty certain that if the Ray McDonald fiasco never happened Robinson would still have been suspended. And they did this knowing that it would look hypocritical on the surface, so I don't think saving face entered into it.

Robinson did something that was clearly actionable RIGHT NOW . . . which opens up the Kawakami/Killion debate about whether the accusation alone is enough sit down McDonald.

If the DA comes out and declines to press charges on McDonald, is the decision to let him play still hypocritical? Why is taking a risk hypocritical? I'll say this though, they'd BETTER BE GOD DAMN RIGHT.

I don't see where the hypocrisy comes in. If he is convicted the team will, I am certain, throw the book at him. And that would be the correct time to do it. The punishment shouldn't precede the verdict. Unless there was concern that he might repeat in which case I imagine the police would not have released him.

Did you believe that Kaepernick should be benched in the light of the far more serious rape allegations?

Here's the deal,

The 9ers have to fully believe that, from the evidence they have gathered, McDonald will not be charged. If they had any evidence showing that McDonald committed the crime he'd be suspended by the team already. They use the term "due process" because it is not wise to be presumptuous about an ongoing investigation.

If they thought he did it, he would be suspended waiting on the official charges and then he would be released.

It is not a question of him being charged. That could happen regardless of his guilt or otherwise. It is a question of him being found guilty in a court.

That may be what you think the question is, but the York, Baalke, and Harbaugh have said their actions will depend on the evidence collected or on the results of the due process.

They have never said that they will act only if McDonald is found guilty in a court.

If the evidence collected is inconclusive, the 49err would wait for legal process to play out, which could mean until after a trial.

But, we do not know if there will be a trial.

You can disagree with them, but their stance is their stance.

I will admit that the media tends to ignore what the team has actually said, but that does not mean that we should.

Someone posted earlier that arrest and booking is mandatory in these situations so as to ensure no further immediate contact with the alleged victim. I would not rely on that to defend your "guilty until proven innocent" position.

?

I don't disagree with them at all. But the point is, being charged is not the factor. People are starting to post as if, if he is charged it is all over for him. Being charged is just one step in the process.

People are also posting as if whilst the process is continuing he should be benched. Well, if the team had a reason to do this I imagine they probably would. But if they are getting positive comments from RayMac and supportive comments from the others who were there, I see no reason to bench him. It isn't as though he is a schoolteacher and children need to be protected. If the police thought his wife was in danger the matter would have taken a different course.
Watched 2 minutes of PTI yesterday, big mistake. Fockers got on their soap box screaming for Rays suspension even though no real facts have been presented.

Its sickening to watch this sh*t, sooner or later one of these victims who keeps getting brought up by these self-righteous media blow hards is gonna kill themselves over this unwanted attention and sadly the media will wash their hands and blame the husband when it was the media who caused it.
