I can lose an 8 with a great thigh gap and replace her with a solid five... Only takes one fifth and some obnoxious Seattle Fans...

I like the idea of Okoye but the reality is he is behind no less than 3 other players currently on the roster. I think we end up with Dial, Williams, and Cowboy for starters this year.

Dial is going to be a badass this year.

Agree. He didn't just stand out in pre-season, he was an absolute force in every game. I've got no doubt in my mind we can plug him in for McDonald if need be and maintain a stout front.

This is offense isn't built to score a lot of points i don't think Roman is even capable of it i see the strategy being the same as it has been since 2011.

I'm willing to give him the first month of the season to show us he can progress the offense. I like the general philosophy, it's a winning one, but the offense has undeniably sputtered at times and has been very inconsistent. We need consistency week-to-week, drive-to-drive. That's the next step for the offense. We have all the pieces this year, no excuses.

Indeed! Roman, burn all those checkers boards, drop the pizza, and pick up a few books on chess openings!

Bowman out for likely at least half the season, A. Smith out 9 games, J. Smith and WIllis another year older, a lot of new, young faces in the secondary, a slight dropoff should not be a surprise to anyone...the offense was already in a position they need marked improvement, losing McDonald just reinforces that fact.

Scoring touchdowns instead of field goals? Would that be a decent strategy change?

No, because Dawson needs to feel like he's part of the team, just not the same if he's kicking a bunch of XPs.

I'm comfortable with Jerod-Eddie, Dial, or Tank being able fill in. If were lucky, one of those guys might even be better than RayMac. And who we kidding? We're going to run the ball.
