I am starting this thread to see how many people would be interested in one of our film breakdown experts (jonnydel, thl08) doing their thing for the 4 upcoming pre-season games.
It would be nice to see this, especially for the position battles to see first hand and with some knowledgable commentary, why certain players are winning or losing certain position battles.
For example, last year, there were several wide recievers, that looked great to my eyes as an average football fan, that ended up being part of the final cuts, and then when we desperately needed recievers, these guys were very publicly pursued. I'm thinking of someone like Austin Collie.
Anyway, I hope that there is much interest in film breakdown of these pre-season games, and I hope that one of our experts has the time and energy to bless us all with their knowledge.

I know I would certainly be interested in this! Those two have really added to my already ridiculous fascination with the game.

This would be fun with so many position battles taking place. Unfortunately, I do not think that all22 is available for preseason games. However, if it is, then it's on.
What's cool is two of the position battles will be in front of us for all to see from the broadcast camera: Kilgore vs Martin and Borland vs Wilhoite. The three battles we may not see well are the battles for RCB, nickel CB, and backup QB. We'll also see Tank in full view.
If it's possible (available on NFL Rewind), I will try to show what's going on with these position battles.

if we can get a breakdown of Kap's entrance to the ESPY's last night, that would be great.

Agreed. I believe he walked in under 11 personnel. But we need the All22 film to confirm.

So he was only escorting one tight end? He might be learning his lesson...
