Lott is an intelligent man. He would be playing according to the current rules.

im not sure about that Eng, but Tony Parrish also Tim McDonald would be a good substitute if penalties were an issue

The implication was that Lott would play on the team in exactly the way he played in the 80s.

which would draw penalties today, it's not play by the rules of the 80's

Are we talking about NFL in TODAY's rule? If so, I'll still take Lott and E. Wright as our corners, M Hanks and T Mcdonald in the middle.

Lott at corner would be better, hard to chose one player from an certain era
Ronnie Lott 1980s
B.Y. 1990s
T.O. 2000s

get s**t on seattle
80's Jerry Rice
90's Jerry Rice
00's Jerry Rice

Hated seeing this man play in any other color than red and gold. Can't figure out why you let the best wr in the history of the game go.

Joe 80's, Deion 90's, Terrell 00's = Super Bowls

I could see it now, people on here complaining about Joe's arm strength. Haha!!!
Taking current team needs into account:

80's - Ronnie Lott: Donte who? Could also be a shutdown corner if asked.

90's - Bryant Young: Total stud. In his prime he was a terror rushing the passer from the interior. We could use some of that now.

00's - Jeremy Newberry: This guy was an animal pre-injuries. Center spot solved.

Eric Wright. First guy I thought of based on team needs this year.
