How much money would it come out to for decent seats, a couple beers, a hotdog, parking and gas to drive 30 miles? $500? I feel like one of those old people who complain about modern prices...just seeing the beer prices makes me giggle. Haven't been to a game in ten years so I forgot how much this stuff was.

Right? How bout I watch the game on TV, buy 100 dollars worth of quality meat, a 12 pack and enjoy all sorts of nice women in a friendly environment (my house) where I can see the field with great camera angles. I've never been much for football games live. Baseball yes but not football. Although I wouldn't turn down free tickets.

That's how I normally feel about the games. I didn't go to a single game last year at Candlestick. But Levi's is just down the street from my office building. You can take the VTA or park a little ways and walk there. I had my employees give me a ride and pick me up at Tasman and Lafayette. This is a stadium worth visiting in its opening season. If you want to get the best prices, I'd say target the Redskins or Rams games right after the bye week. Think Week 9 and 10 in November. I got tickets to the Chargers game this Sunday to see the starters play the 1st half, and then the Rams game on November 2nd.

Seriously. Just seeing that feels like a slap in the face and makes me not want to even make an attempt to go to a game. Then again maybe it's a 16 oz. bottle and not a 12 oz., so I could be way off base and overreacting.

I gave up on going to games in the late 90's.

Imagine if....people just didn't drink beer at a game! 3 hours without beer is absolutely unthinkable and downright unacceptable..

Guess you've never been to a SEC game.

Thanks guys, hope you enjoyed the report. I know a lot of Niner fans didn't get tickets to any of the training camp sessions so I wanted to provide as many details as I could. Gotta head out to work now!

A $11 beer will definitely curb the obnoxious drunks.
