49ers 3-Day Rookie Minicamp

I'm excited about the 3 day rookie minicamp that starts today. I understand that the media will be in attendance so we should get some good tidbits even though there are no pads/hitting allowed.

Excited to see our youngsters get to work.

The media will only have access today but still looking forward to their reports, especially if Grant Cohn says Faulkner is locking on his 1st read and has sloppy footwork a la Kap because that's what he'll be obsessively focused on.

I just hope we get lots of good pictures.

Already got some news and it's not good. Marcus Lattimore is "working through something" and will not be full participant... per Harbaugh.

I'm hoping it's just soreness from heavier workouts. It pays to be cautious. Look at Kyle and how he pushed it too hard and got reinjured. Same with Darius.

Yeah, I don't think Latt will be anymore than a backup.

Barrows tweeted that JH said whatever the reason for his lack of participation, it isn't due to his knee.

It probably has to due with the supporting muscles around the knees. Probably not ready for an increased load yet. Remember, we're talking about both knees. It's going to be a long haul for Latt in his comeback attempt, I wish him luck.

Best not to assume anything regarding Lattimore, even if it is easy to do so based upon the history.
