acoustics don't mean s**t if your fan base sits on their hands the whole game

I think to be loud we need a nickname as fans. How about we be the 12th man, I don't think anybody college or pros claim that name

I know were the faithful, but to be really loud you need to steal a nickname from a college team. How the San Francisco Cameron crazies

haha

Lets be Rip City. Its OK to rip off another team's name. Everyone does it..... lolz

There is zero proof until there are 68,000 fans in it making noise. Until then, everything out there is just speculation. I know I'll be cheering my ass off. Just like every other 49ers home game for the last 20 years.

yup

last couple years i went to a hand full of games and the entire lower bowl didnt even sit down most of the game. and in the playoffs no one sat down...
i always felt that candlestick got really loud at times, but when you see it on tv, the sound doesn't resonate to well

ok maybe they didnt plan it, but it turned out that the stadium held in crowd noise unlike any venue in the league. better?

Yes KC does...When your good, you have loud fans. That stadium been open since 02. Before 3 years ago nobody was talking about the shehawks home field advantage..

i'm not sure where you were prior to the past 3 years, but that stadium has been recognized as giving the seahawks a great home field advantage for at least a decade.

its been called the leagues loudest venue ever since the giants went in there in like 2006 and had like 15 false starts. i'm sure they have bandwagon fans who just hoped on since they won, but they've had a solid fan base locally for years. i guess since i'm close to seattle and go to almost every niner game thats been there since 2002 i'm one of the few who can acknowledge it was extremely loud there 10 years ago. theres not much bandwagon aspect to it.

I have a couple of issues with this technical diagram.

-- It implies that sound originates from the field and goes outward.
-- It makes no mention of the "hole" right above the stadium.
-- It makes no mention of the large reflective wall on one side of the stadium.
-- It looks like it was drawn by Cookie Monster.

Everything seems about right in both posts. I agree with both.
just time the yelling. When they go to silent count, you know your loud.
