Once full camp and preseason starts you'll change your mind on that, trust me.

All 32 teams had a chance to take that guy. They passed.

So the guy has to light up preseason as a 3rd QB, which is tough enough when Bethel-Thompson is still around and Gabbert needs reps.

Then, a team has to make a spot for him on the 53. So you need to find a team in the NFL that either is going to keep three active QB's or is going to make your dude the immediate backup. I don't think either will happen/

Keep Dan Skuta as well! I like him he always has that motor that never quits. Good things happen when he is in the game.
I like Skuta as well. But given how we drafted tell me how we keep him, especially given how Lemonier showed last season?

I want to see what Aaron Lynch can do. I think he will be the steal of the draft. Shayne Skov makes it too especially with Bo out. Skov is a player and a physical beast!
Agreed

Trust me Bro, I'm not afraid to be wrong I don't see him lasting on the PS.
Don't think we carry 3 QBs. We'll carry more than 2 TEs. Tukafu won't make the team this year. Dahl is done. I have this weird feeling LMJ won't be cut, if we find a suitable trade then he'll go, otherwise I think we go RB heavy and keep him.

PT - your guard spots should be 3 if Thomas is on IR.

Thanks man!

I hope your hunch about Ian Williams is wrong. He must really look good in practice because he stinks in games. Unless Brandon Lloyd has really fell off, I can't see a player that good getting cut. You better be wrong about Aldon, it'd be hard to lose him and Bowman.

I don't see Lloyd making the cut. Stevie is the clear #3 WR, and Lloyd wouldn't be active, why waste a roster spot on him. Ellington and Patton bring more. And Osgood has value as a ST Ace, where Lloyd doesn't.

I also like Skuta, but Borland can be just as good on the outside as Skuta. Borland is actually an exceptional pass rusher. That versatility allows us to free up another roster spot for a rook.

Ian Williams was phenomenal in games, and won the starting job. Are you thinking of someone else?

In this scenario, we will only have one rookie of our 12 draft picks, not make the roster, or be red-shirted.

BrianGO I doubt they cut Skuta, even if Aldon gets off free, I don't feel comfortable with Lynch as the only backup OLB besides Lemonier. Skuta can play OLB, ILB, and STs.

Ventrone stays also. I believe Seely will get his 2 ST Aces that he wants, it will be his choices, probably the Vets. Wegot burned when we let Costanzo go, can't let both Ventrone and Skuta go too.
Also the rooks will go on NFI, not IR.
