Way to early final roster projection . . .

I've got 24 on offense and 26 on defense. I've got Aldon on the roster, but if he's on the suspended list we could keep Skov or an extra DB on the roster for a while.

We're going to be looking at a lot of fierce camp battles.

Can I sat this without sounding gay, I love ya Sonoco, this is PERFECT, just how I would draw it up.

I agree with the roster/cuts at every position. I feel much better heading into this season than I did last year (as long as injuries aren't a huge factor).

This looks perfect.

Some ballers on that cut list...but I can't disagree with your roster, barring injury, or amazing/flop preseasons by anyone.

They will not be able to resign all of their veterans, could they do some consolidation trades to teams that need more depth?

Can't afford a better CB right now. If we trade, it's for picks next year.

I think it depends on what players the Niners trade.

Let's use a player like Cortez Allen as an example. Step one, why would the Steelers trade an up and coming cover corner with good size? Their team is old and needs an infusion of your talent. The Niners could do a consolidation trade where they send the a couple of young CB, or a combination of players.

The Niners potentially have a glut of interior line depth. Iupati, Boone, Looney, Kilgore, Marcus Martin, Brandon Thomas (red shirt).

What if the Niners traded Iupati for a CB before they lose him?

I get the idea but it's not going to happen. We won't trade a starter now, and OL starters are gold.
Guys I totally forgot about on this list who might still contribute and are still "exciting prospects"

Nice thread !

As far as I´m concerned this is like Madden in real life. Baalke went full Ninja mode the last couple of weeks / months.

The talent on our 90 man roster is just unreal.
This goes back to what we've said previously... that the 49ers will be bringing more talent to training camp than ANY other team in the ENTIRE NFL! We are bound to trade a couple players before final cutdowns for draft picks next season! Redshirting premium talents and whatnot! Whew!

Niners also agreed on terms with UDFA OT Fou Fonoti, C Dillon Farrell , S LJ McCray. So the first cuts are already underway.

Logically I know you're right. The NFL is just different from the NBA or MLB when it comes to trades. Trading Iupati seems logical to me, but only if one of their young players shows he can play at a championship caliber level.

Maybe a smaller consolidation trade with back ups?

Seymour is probably the guy in trouble on the OL.

Although, they could surprise and lose Snyder if some of the young guys step up.

Snyder, Looney, Martin and Martin?
Love this thread!

@sonoco, my only glaring disagreement is the lack of a 2nd fullback

Millard tore his ACL in October and it sounds like he hasn't been rushing his rehab. I'm assuming he stands a good chance of being ready by mid-season.

Looks like a championship to me.
