Heck I'll take Chris Jones over Lynch as one of the Defensive Lineman we keep.

I just can't see how Brooks fits in this D.

SAM on run downs and possibly a 3rd down pass rusher is what we believe at this moment. OTAs are like in 12 days so we'll start hearing where people are lining up.
Even at his age he's probably the best sam prospect on this team today.

I sure as heck think so. He still looked explosive off his first few steps. Brooks is the kinda dude that is motivated by change to prove himself. I consider him a prideful kinda guy. With Eli on the team it's good to have them work together.
Got married last week, and still looks like he's 280+. This dude needs to drop some serious weight. If he can get down to 265 that would be best for him

Dude can play 1/3rd of the snaps at SAM and sub his fat ass out. No way this tubby has the bend, explosion, quickness and edge speed to be an E in this defense. Bull rush on the strong side is all he has right now.

Seriously. I cant believe he was 249 at the combine. He needs to drop weight fast or he's on his way out. Lynch and Shanahan have no attachments to him.
Overweight
Lazy
Apathetic

I saw him respond to some random guy on instagram that called him out over his weight. Lynch essentially pulled the "you wouldn't say that to my face" card.

If he doesn't come in to camp in whatever shape they want him in they won't waste to much time hanging on to the guy. Let's see what kind of motivation the contract year & new coaching staff does for him

Agreed. And if Lynch does rush from LDE on passing downs then all good.

Doesn't really matter if Lynch Slob comes in the greatest shape of his life.. he is NOT a DE... he's not a true 4-3 (DE)... he should not an every down type of player.. the only reason why he was good as a rookie was because no one knew him and he was a part time player.. the minute we tried to make a him a full time starter, or even give him extra playing time, he just got too tired too soon, and he got too hungry and gained weight eating extra steaks...

What he is a PASSING DOWN SPECIALIST... sure he can register up to 13 to 18 sacks, but I tell you right now, it can only happen if he's a situational rusher...

the motor on this guy isn't that great, and this is the best way to use him..
Another halfway houser.

Probably will be cut.

This is interesting. If he comes in Fat, not focused, but still looks like the best Elephant on the team ( this could be not saying much), would they cut him?

Yeah. That's probably not the winning culture Lynch wants to establish. He wants winners. Lynch has more red flags than Chinatown.

At this moment I'm only seeing him as a 3rd down pass rusher or a rotating guy if the opposing offense is driving.
Got married last week and his girl is pregnant again. Dude is gonna come into camp at over 300 pounds

That joke is so old I almost fell off my dinosaur!
Don't care much for this guy. I'm starting to hop aboard the Thomas bandwagon. We need someone to attack the QB.
