Now I admit, I knew nothing about Aaron Lynch prior to the draft but after watching some highlights of him, it actually looks like a good pick considering 5th round. He has the skills but he needs the coaching which he will get. This guy Lynch has a chance.

Suspension? For doing what?

He already suspended himself for the DUI last year.

Well the gun charges will be resolved before the season starts, so will the airport shenanigans. The NFL has probably already told the 9ers what to expect in the event he is legal guilty and/or if they still want to send a message if he isn't convicted of anything major.
His tackles look grabby, pushy, reachy. Where's the kaboom?

None of that matters. This is not the legal system punishing him. It is the league and their reputation that will determine the punishment. I am not saying he will get any, just saying you cannot look at it like it is a courtroom and cite the bill of rights. The dude works for a company, and he has sullied their reputation ... simple as that.

You need to watch the highlights of when he was at Notre Dame. He was 18 years old, and he was dominating. The link to the highlight package was in one of the threads here.

Edit ... first post.

And that company works for its fans, who should be fed up with this b******t.

Put on his notre dame tape. this isnt your average 5th rounder. he was a monster when he was about 30lbs heavier and playing the 5 technique(same position justin smith plays for us).

It's notable when a true freshman defensive player is being double- and triple-teamed by the offensive line and running backs from teams like Michigan State.

I actually approved of the policies at first. Then it started being excessive. Now it's blatantly biased and driven by sensationalist media. Makes me sick.
Besides a couple big hits, is anyone else not seeing the hype about this guy? Not to be a downer, but he didn't seem all THAT dominant even at ND.

He takes on double teams at 265 lbs, and stuffs the running game. He takes on double teams in the passing game. He is the first one off the ball on almost every snap. He has the power to bull rush and the speed to get around the edge when single blocked. He has an extremely explosive first step, and has the ability to stunt very fast, much like Aldon Smith.

yea he needs to bulk up he is at 249 needs to get back up to 260s imo back up to brooks

The worry about this kid is a little overblown. We got coaches from his past, and if he doesnt have the mentality needed for this team he will be rooted out by our Vets. If he is a douche off the field that sucks... but its hard to really care if it doesnt affect his work ethic or results.

Who?

He's probably referring to Jim Leavitt. Leavitt left USF before he got there, but Lynch said in his conference call they've met and know each other a little bit.

Gotcha.

Gil Brandt tweeted his approval of the pick right after it was made stating that Lynch had an amazing first 10 yards on his 40 yard dash and said that's indicative of great pass rushers.
