Jed York, time to show up

I don't know what people expect Jed to do. As an owner he has a sensitive balance to maintain and a lot of red tape to cross when dealing with off the field issues. At this point, Kap's issue turns out to be just a bunch of smoke and mirrors, Aldon was just being the iggnorant ass kid that he is, btu outside of that I don't expect anything to come from the airport issue, and Cully pleaded not guilty, with a good lawyer he can get out of his issue easily. Then we have Kilgore who was walking home from a bar drunk... people do this in Vegas all the time, again not a big deal. This franchise is not in a state of crisis the way people would have you believe. Maybe if we had guys knocking out their spouse, or killing their teamates while drunk driving I would worry more about the issues, but right now everything is quite minor. By time the draft and OTA's roll around and the media actually has football news to cover this will all be a foot note. Jed shouldn't risk pissing off his players and coaches by jumping the gun and implementing discipline for issues that have not been handled in a judicial matter. SMH.

No surprise that an article inspired by PFT turns out to be crap.

I'm so f**king pissed with people claiming the Niners have this roster of thugs or whatever. From what we are hearing, Kap didn't do s**t wrong. That should be totally irrelevant soon. Culliver did something stupid, a lot of NFL players do s**t like that in the offseason. Relatively speaking, not that big of a deal. Thankfully he didn't use the brass knuckles.

Aldon said some dumb s**t, but he'll get a slap on the wrist. That isn't really a big deal either. He obviously has a drinking problem, but he is a pass rushing specialist. That's at a HUGE premium in the NFL. You don't give up on that until you have to.

Personally, I think its funny when people expect a certain level of "morality" out of NFL players on their team. Fools thought that OJ Simpson was a great guy. As long as they are good on the field, that's all I care about. This ain't chess, I don't expect them to be angels and I don't care about them personally.

And the tabloids of the NFL, PFT, recycles so much b******t.

One thing for sure JH, Trent will never say anything negative about the players.

JH will be rah-rah as always.

Good for us - clean it up in-house BUT please do it quickly.

Also, whoever evaluates the "character" of drafted players should upgrade his criteria.

With all the recent busts and bad PR he should step up and hire some better payouts to media outlets to keep there mouths shut. All recent incidents seem to border on harassment. Kilgore was dismissed, Kap has all but been cleared, Aldon thing is just stupidity on all parties involved and will probably get thrown out. Even the Culliver thing was a misdemeanor the guy could have crashed his bike into the car bent a tire and Culliver doesn't notice and now is being chased by someone and get defensive. I know Culliver scenario seems like a stretch but who knows with all this lately. Not to mention the rat leaking the Harbaugh thing but that could have been from Cleveland.

Just saw a video that I thought was somewhat accurate. Wanted to see what my fellow webzoners thought about it.
I do hope that there is some type of private "meeting" or somebody steps up and becomes a leader (Vernon, Willis, Smith)
Probably shouldn't be public, but I at least hope something is going on with all the negative press about our team.

all you can do is tell them to avoid these types of things, but its up to them to follow through. for all we know they've said these things prior to this rash of incidents and the guys just didnt listen too well.

Jed York has done pretty well since he took over the franchise.

I'd say the original article, this thread, and the situation from which both spawned from are all insulting. If one thinks Jed owes them something, they are trippin'. Just because some of their players are idiots, doesn't mean I expect a press conference to address it. The players just need to grow up and these situations will blow over.
