There were a few reasons. One, we weren't effective on our play action passes, so it never really backed Seattle's LB's off. Also, Seattle was determined that Gore wouldn't beat them again, also, there were multiple breakdowns in assignments from different players. I highlighted one of Staley's but Snyder had a couple, McDonald had a couple, and so did Goodwin. I would have liked to see us try and incoorporate some more "wham" plays to counter Seattle's aggressive line penetration but without Bruce Miller and McDonald not being the most agile blocker, those plays are very tough to execute.
