Does anyone think Cully gets the Brandon Jacobs treatment, meaning we stash him on IR for the year and then if someone signs him we get credit towards a comp pick?

Can someone please TWEET Chris That , in California YOU DO NOT GET ARRESTED for driving on a suspended License.

Tell him that in CALIFORNIA they will only IMPOUND your car for 30 DAYS For driving with no L's.

It is a misdemeanor that can be reduced to a simple infraction if you DON'T run away from the scene after you hit someone and if you DON'T bust out some brass knuckles to beat someone else with.

He's claiming 'stand your ground' law. The dude was following and harassing him

Stand your ground as it applies to the bicycle he brutally assaulted....errr, I mean that came right at him!

Was referring to he dude that followed him after he left the accident scene and left the bicyclist But yeah, that bike came out of nowhere and surprised Culliver. Felt his life was threaten at that point, so what else would any one could have done but drove away from the danger.

Dude that followed him was clearly a street hoodlum of ill repute! We all know that Cully, after shaking that roving and clearly mad bicyclist was on his way to a LGBT meeting to show his support! Then this thug chased him down. When Cully declared to this felon to raise up his dukes. The assailant, once he saw a law enforcement official was near, framed him by chucking in a felonious fashion a pair of gold/copper/perhaps brass knuckles. The policeman never the wiser arrested our fair and responsible cornerback! Where is the justice?

That's a knuckle ring Cully just bought for his girl friend which he fashioned as a make shift weapon on the spur of the moment to defend hisself. Not a brass knuckle.
Absolute imbecile. If he's able to stay on the team after this year, he's not going to warrant major money or long-term deals with all these issues.
If the knucks don't fit, you must acquit!

He definitely f**ked up his pocket book in more ways than one with this s**t.

I'd rather not if we get a more promising player in the draft and/or somebody younger with the same equivalent talent level either via UDFA or via a 6th or 7th rounder like a Darryl Morris or a Marcus Cooper, heck I'm cutting the guy. We need all the depth that we can get for a super bowl run this year. ONE friggen play from getting into the super bowl. If Crabs wasn't injured, we'd have home field advantage and probably would have beaten the Broncos.

No one thinks this.

As did Aldon with his actions. I expect Culliver to get the same considerations Aldon did. Let due process take it's course.

Alton's situation was entirely different and can be helped as what the 49ers did

Cully was just stupid and you can't fix stupid

Can't fix stupid, but I can excuse stupid . . . at least for the rest of this year while the legal issues sort out. By that time he'll be a free agent.

The longer you drag this type of incident out the worse the penalty will be. He's guilty already.

We waived Jacobs. We did not credit towards a comp pick.

No. Not this. But you don't have to use a lot of imagination to come up with more plausible scenarios than what have been made public so far.

Anyway, I'll let the defense attorney make the arguments.
