We replaced a safety with a safety, added a couple back up players and retained a kicker. It has not been enough to over take seattle or denver. For last several years the corner position has been the weak link and it will continue. The idea that wright is a solid number 3 is false and brock is not a true number 1. When we play teams that put 3 and 4 wr's on the field, we will get killed. I hope we can add at least one more good corner and draft another one but at this point staying pat is not a good idea.
I think for a team as talented as the Niners and with so many contracts coming up that is the wrong question to ask. Are we better now ? Who knows. I think what is more important is that two days into free agency and two lost starters you could make the point that we are as good as before !
It looks like the FO has a plan and I like every move so far.
