The second one of our tackles is injured and Martin has to play it's immediately a sign I need to get a fifth of alcohol for the game.

Solid move. Like it. So far liking the early offseason moves by the fo.

IT'S IDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Needed to bring a little potato to the boards today. Seriously though, these are some nice savvy front office moves. This FO knows what it is doing.

No it doesnt our fo is out of there freakin mind, like most of the zone i already picked up all these players on madden and we went 2-14.........

49ers trade for ex-Stanford offensive tackle Jonathan Martin

It wasn't hard to detect the 49ers' interest in offensive tackle Jonathan Martin when Jim Harbaugh, in the report that documented Martin's travails while with the Dolphins, said he thought his former player could resume a productive NFL career. Today, the 49ers followed through with that hint, trading an undisclosed draft pick to Miami for Martin, a second-round pick in 2012.

Martin doesn't have to go far to join his new team. The former Stanford lineman, who was recruited by Harbaugh, has been taking classes at Stanford. Martin has played both right and left tackle, and he becomes a top candidate to become the so-called swing tackle who can back up either Anthony Davis at right tackle or Joe Staley on the left side. Last year that job fell to guard Alex Boone with Adam Snyder also filling in at times at tackle.

Martin has two years remaining on his original contract at base salaries of $825,000 and $1.04 million. He is expected to join teammates when the 49ers' offseason conditioning program begins April 21.

Jebus. I think Aldon accelerated after making contact with martin. Is that possible?
Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter 20s For former Dolphins OT Jonathan Martin, SF traded a conditional 7th-rd pick in 2015 if he's on 49ers' opening 53-man roster.

Incognito was like, "WTF just happened?" LOL

.....and everyone wants to suck Incognito off for being so good. Aldon is just a freak of nature, doubt there's many OL's that can consistently contain him 1 on 1.
One thing is for sure, our offseasons are always exciting as hell.
We upgraded at strong safety, probably at backup QB, and got a backup OT/OG with starting experience and still plenty of potential.

Today was a good day.
