All three of them. That rotation would make linemen curl into a fetal position and the QB cry like a b***h.

I was against bringing in Allen at first , being that Brooks and Smith are top notch OLB's, but after thinking about how bad I want to Crush Seattle, I've changed my tune ... Jared could be a nice luxury to have , we could put him on the edge in nickel and dime packages , and let him get a few snaps at OLB ...he could be the Fred Dean we need to get us over the hump ....if an agreeable deal can be reached that doesn't insult the veterans on our roster, I say go get #69 ...this is the year we shouldn't be F*cking around

Defensive front has turned into about the deepest area on the Niners. They've got something like 9 players set there. Why would they need to spend a bunch of money on someone like Allen. Anyway, he's not "that guy" anymore. I HOPE the Seahawks lay a bunch of money on him. That would just quicken their inevitable fall.
I was going to say the same thing, but decided not to, to avoid the backlash. I really do hope Seattle keeps digging the hole they are digging, while we continue to grab solid values, like we do every year under Baalke.
Let's say you're Jared Allen. You have a 2-year, $12M offer on the table from someone. Seattle says, "Hey, look, we'll give you 2/$12M, but we're probably going to cut you after this year. Next year, you can return to free agency and sign another deal. But we give you arguably the best chance at a ring. And we'll rotate you -- you'll stay fresh and can go full-motor every play."
I mean, what Denver is doing -- I think they're shooting themselves in the foot long-term. They're going all-in, and when Manning retires they're going to toil away for a couple years with a lot of dead money. But I don't think Seattle adding a pass rusher (like Peppers or Allen on a 2-year deal let's say) is mortgaging their future.
Not trying to be apologetic towards Seattle. Just trying to be objective.

In Allen's case it will come down to $$$ more than a ring.
I think Peppers will be around for a while maybe nobody will pick him up.
