He sucks so bad but for a 6th round pick... Who cares, specially if he reworks his contract. I trust Harbaugh to make him into a serviceable QB at least.

Baalke and Harbaugh have had a LOT of success with taking 1st round busts and getting value.

this. I am actually hoping they can restructure the contract and maybe add another year or 2. Build him up and try to trade him for a better pick in a couple years.

49ers and QB Blaine Gabbert expected to rework final year of his original contract to, potentially, serve as backup.

There you go 1 year for 2,011,000 bet we rework that to around 750k and we have a guy 3 years younger than McCoy with more potential and more starts under his belt I believe. 750k to 1 mil is much cheaper than most backups out there are going for. Considering Cassell just got 5 per I'll take 750 to 1 mil.

Lets be real. What young QB would have been successful there with the talent and coaching staff. Ala Alex here when he was drafted.

Harbaugh will have his work cut out for him.
I hope we avoid the musical chairs at back-up quarterback this year.
Stick with the back-ups and coach them up.
