Solid, solid player. Not quite as good a tackler (or hitter but you can't hit anymore) as Whitner but better in coverage.

PFF has him rated 53rd overall for Safeties.
Whitner was 6th.
He might not have the knowledge in our systems but I think he'll work well in our system and have that veteran experience to work with Reid.
