Which head coach firing was the worst mistake made by niner ownership

Which head coach firing was the worst mistake made by niner ownership

Promoting Mariucci over Carroll.

Not forcing Seifert to retire after 1994 and promoting Mike Shanahan to take over.

/thread
I voted for Harbaugh's firing being the worst mistake, even though it didn't actually happen, because it would be SO bad, that despite it not happening, it is still by far the worst mistake.

That. And the aftermath. f**k it still feels like yesterday thinking about the way that all played out.
Didn't Mooch also find out about being fired while he was put to dinner with his family? It was broadcasted over the news instead of telling him first.

help me with this. was that ever an option? would that have been a topic had we had the webzone back then do you think? back then when i was younger I did not follow nor care who our asst coaches were so I was pretty happy with george all along. was there a large base unhappy with him? i just thought the frustration lied with young never being able to beat dallas and making crucial mistakes in those games before the niners bought themselves a defense in 94

he should have been f**king fired at half time of the tampa game and mora jr(who i hated) should have coached the team in the second half

I felt the same way, I was screaming and yelling so much when Garcia took a knee it freaked out my dog and he hid under the bed for hours. I wanted his head on a platter for that act of quitting, of course the minute Erickson was hired I wanted Mooch back.

i think there is plenty of blame to go around from all parties involved, media, JH, the niners front office, social media and people like me who do not need a reason to get stirred up about something
