Personally, I think the Seahawks are going to get it again next year.

They have a real chance and they may be the new dynasty. Dallas in the 90's. Patriots in 2000's and Seahawks in 2010's.

They've definitely got the right attitude, work ethic, coaches, players and owner at the moment. Already they are getting to work on next season. The 49ers are a fantastic team and they're going to put up a damn good fight, I have no doubt.

Nope, I'm doubtful it happens again. The odds of the 49ers ending the year with 4 consecutive road games and the seahawks ending the year with 4 consecutive home games, that's not gonna happen again. Incredibly lucky circumstances for you guys. I'm not even gonna talk about the officiating since the game was again at your house. Your best chance was this year.
Anyways, we started the process of losing players due to salary cap last year . We've shed quite a few old starters from last year (Goldson, Walker, Moss, Ginn). We're gonna shred a few more old but overpaid starters this year as well (Rogers, Whitner, Goodwin). This actually is a positive step for the 49ers. These vets have been the weakest links. They will be replaced by much cheaper, younger, faster and probably better players.
As for you guys, let's see how you guys handle your turnover and cap situation. Free agency and the draft have not happened yet. Both of those events will help shape what happens next year. Although our goal was to win the superbowl this year, we also made alot of moves with the future in mind. Cost-cutting as well as shelving young but injured talent. Accumulating draft picks, creating cap space for the future. It all adds up to a brighter future for the 49ers.

This. I won't doubt their potential, but why is this in a thread dedicated to absolute homerism?

Who says next season belongs to anyone? Did the NFL tell you who is going to win? It is set up. Just like pro wrestling. Read Larceny Games.

Hi new guy, welcome to the Webzone. You got anything to add to the homerism of this thread? No?

Good luck guys but until you can beat Seattle Seahawks in their homefield you are going to be out of luck. I know you guys like to keep saying how you 'almost' beat them time and time again and that you think you are a better team but fact is fact, until you beat them at home you will not get to the Superbowl.
I have a strong feeling you two will face again in the NFC Championship. Hopefully you will get the home team advantage and not Seattle.

There is no way we can make 5-6-7 etc straight NFC title game, especially how strong the NFC currently is. That's absurd. We are due for a "Last Hurrah" followed by a retooling season. Whether this will be the 2014 season or the 2015 or POSSIBLY the 2016 season. It is coming.
History:
1985 - Lost Wild Card (3* straight NFC title games)
1991 - No Playoffs (3 straight NFC title games)
1995 - Lost Divisional Round (3 straight NFC title games)
2014 - ? (3 straight NFC title games)

beating seattle in seattle isnt the be all end all. they have a longer losing skid in sf than we have in seattle. harbaugh has won there, carroll hasnt won in sf. its probably going to be another split, which means its all about the other 14 games and how they shake down. yeah they were-13-3 and had a great year, we were 12-4 right behind them and took them to the limit. dont act like we're some 9-7 team hoping to close some huge gap.

That's why I think they're pre-billing the Panthers to win it all next season (they're already chirping about it like they did Seattle around this time last year). -I have a nasty feeling deep down it's gonna be 49ers/Panthers at Levi's, and we're gonna get jobbed again.
