Even if no one picks up Roman, Gary Kubiak for OC anyone? Or who do you want?

if no team takes Roman off our hands, then I'm sorry I'm ready to move on. And usually I don't mind promoting from within for our QB's sake, but not this time.. unless Geep Chryst is going to take a totally different approach with our formations and strategies.

I'd love to see what Kubiak can do with Vernon and McDonald...because I used to loved what he did with Owen Daniels and their other TEs.

Also a different approach to our running game might be needed. If Lattimore and Hunter are going to be our future, then I believe they run/can run similar Arian Foster. Can our Oline run the zone blocking scheme?

Harbaugh loves continuity.

And that is what scares me, I'm worried that he may wait too long to cut the cord if/when it comes time to make a change.

We won't see a change at our coordinators until we bottom out and miss the playoffs IMO.

I think the Niners wanted to open up the offense this year but soon discovered that due to WR limitations and Kap not being ready they scaled back to what we did best and that was running the ball, which is what they should have done. And I wouldnt place all the blame on Roman as the calls coming in to be called out to Kap were called into Harbaugh. If Harbaugh really hated the calls I think he could change them.

Definitely someone with a better feel for the game and the ability to make in-game adjustments. F'n SAME run on EVERY first down! really?!?! Might as well have just started every series on 2nd and 10.

Well if we're going to throw around names from the days of 49er yore, then there's another former Niner OC who's unemployed and has stated he prefers coaching over the front-office type stuff...one Mike Holmgren. And he also said he understands that being a HC is more a younger man's game these days, so wonder if the old fella would consider being an OC. Not saying I would be in favor of it, just stirring the pot, would make for good theater if his name started getting some run.
