In your opinion, which rookie QB or veteran that we can realistically trade for could replace the overall production (stats and winning) of Kaep in the playoffs.
Kap was not very good statistically in the playoffs. I feel any QB handpicked by harbaugh in the draft and coached by him could put up the same stats and record with such a complete team. He had, what? 3 passing tds in 3 games? Yikes.
I see this assessment a lot (Keap in the Playoffs isn't that great). Well, lets see, the 49ers played GB (crappy D), Car, and Seattle - AWESOME D's. The last 5 games less GB, Keap had to face the best defenses in the NFL. What type of stats do you expect him to throw up? These defenses didn't become feared because they allowed 40 pts and 300 yards passing every game. They're feared because Brady and Manning will more than likely have a crappy game against them.
A lot of Keap assessments have absolutely no relativity. Look, writers are saying Wilson has lost it, but, like Keap, he's faced the same top defensive issues.
Fact is, I lay all the blame at Roman's feet. It's his job to create opportunities against these D's; talent alone won't cut it, they have a boatload too.
