I hope Rogers doesnt play. I was liking Eric Wrights game before Brown came back. Carlos has been a liability all year.

They will get their yards but I'm not overly worried and won't be surprised. That's just how Green bay is with Rodgers. I think we will follow the same blueprint and pressure him. this will help take some of that pressure off the DB's. We won't shut them down but they will have some issues. Their o-line isn't great and that is where we will attack.

I'm not a huge Carlos Rogers fan but I think people are jumping the gun hoping he is out. He's a starter for a reason & it's never good when one is out.

and what reason is that? That he's a vet? Come on, this staff is notorious for sitting talent just because they're not as experienced. Nnamdi was a starter off reputation alone. Look where he's at now...Originally posted by matt49er:I'm not a huge Carlos Rogers fan but I think people are jumping the gun hoping he is out. The pass rush is a far bigger issue than the DBs. If it fails, they will fail.

Just double Jordy Nelson, keep AROD in the pocket with Bullrush and the defense should be fine, but if they try and play off coverage with free release, the 49ers chances go from good to SLIM.

Nnamdi was never a starter actually and actually I think defensively this team does a good job of getting the right players on the field. I have the same gripes on offense (LMJ etc) but still Rogers is a solid CB and it's no guarantee that Brown/Wright will be any better.

Yes, Rogers has been giving up some big plays, but I think he hasn't given up that much TD's this year.

I'm worried about the packers getting us into our dime package with our 4th CB. Who will that be if Carlos Rogers is out?
