I agree, utilizing that thing is sort of a jerk off move, even when a thread actually merits being locked.

I would rather lose in the NFC title game than to lose another Super Bowl, I still find it difficult to believe we lost one. It will be sweet when the 49ers get it right this year and come home with number 6.

Thats why I dont know if id ever attend a 49ers Super Bowl. Im not willing to spend thousands of dollars to potentially witness a heartbreaking loss in person. Obviously winning would make it all worth it, but I cant even imagine how sick of a feeling itd be to know you just blew a small fortune to watch your team lose the title.

Like I said, if Seattle loses in both scenarios, id rather watch them lose the Super Bowl than us. I still cant even watch any replays of Super Bowl 47. Losing a title game fades away over time, but I think every 49er fan who watched the Super Bowl last year will cringe thinking about that game for a LONG time.
