Would much rather give Miller's role to Vance McDonald

You gotta love his work ethic. We all road this guy off for years and he is still here. I recall him getting in the game and blowing up a block on the goal line last week. He is a beast and will do just fine BUT I do worry about his hands some thats why we need to throw Vance McDonald back there or run more 2 TE sets!!

I think one thing's for certain. We are going to miss Miller's catching ability.

I hope this forces us to go to more spread and using Hunter and James running from shotgun

Mixed bag for me. I'm sure he'll be fine lead blocking etc. I think he can be a threat to run and catch. I just don't know how well he will do in pass protections. But truth is. The dude plays hard and is a gamer. I think as long as he plays within himself he will be fine.

Bet Dixon been waiting for this opportunity for a while. I don't anticipate a big drop off in play from miller but I do think it will mean we see different personal groupings

No, but only because the coaching staff haven't officially given him the role yet

IDK why but I was JUST thinking about that dude last week. He wore number 43 right? We'd even have him return kicks.

I'm taking a wait and see approach. We need the FB position to be productive, Gore needs that too. With the likely outdoor, cold weather games the running game could be more important than the passing game.

I have great confidence in Dixon, he's still that energizer bunny, always pumping teammates up. Look out for him taking out defenders with his blocks.

I never have confidence in Dixon when he has the ball. He has absolutely no identity as a runner. He's 240 pounds but still runs like he's 180. I've never seen him really have to lead block, so I assume he can't be great at it, considering how difficult that actually is. I personally don't want him on the field unless he's playing special teams
