I've been blessed to have seen the San Francisco Giants and 49ers play at the 'Stick. Too many countless memories holds for me in that place, tailgating and the games itself.
As a fan, I hate that they will move the team, may Lady Candlestick be old and what not. As someone who who's been there since the 70's, I will miss her...
Good bye, Candlestick.

I'm guessing the legendary Dwight Clark will be our captain or at least one of our captains. Hopefully we also get a Joe Montana appearance as well.....
And nobody is comparing the two for the legacy as a football player or as a Niner......but Dwight was THE first (and best) Candlestick moment ever.
As great as Vernon Post was (#2 all time Stick moment to me), I couldn't imagine seeing The Catch on tv let alone the stadium.
Dwight HAS TO BE THERE!

Didn't Joe say that he most likely wouldn't be able to make it?

bad paintjob, bathrooms are rusty, seats are uncomortable, brickwork needed. ..
man. Talk about Nostalgia. Giants games, I was looking right at Sammy Sosa when he hit two homers in one damn game. When we beat the dodgers, the Crowd was insane!
caught a glimpse of Terrell Owens acting like a chump not playing on his last day as a niner.
Watching Derek Smith whiff and Tim Rattay to Otis Amey.
Feeling the ghosts of legends like Joe , Steve, Jerry , Ronnie, Walsh, Taylor, disappointed in our team and fanbase and the pressure they put on the franchise and fans.
That feel when we draft a guy named Patrick Willis, watching him with my VERY own eyes , sack Mr Hollywood Leinart making him insecure for the rest of his NFL career with one game.I knew a plan was in place and hope reigned but the climb was reset.
To the future !

Only been there twice. Once for a Giants game when I was really young and to the preseason game against the Broncos this season. I will miss the history the historical significance it leaves. Im excited to build a history with Levi stadium which will have a lot of its own history Im sure. Looking towards an optimistic future
