Anyone know how loud it was yesterday at the stadium?

The message board said around 125 decibels at its highest. Not exactly record territory, but plenty loud for the 'Stick.

Don't take this as an attack on you....
This is not pointless...
The 12man is not fake..
Sea's fans have mud stomped this 49ers team twice.
I don't think SEA beats the 49ers on a neutral field...and I have doubts the 49ers can beat Sea at CLINK.
I give props to the stadium designer and fans for their massive effect on thier home games.

There is no question that sound is a huge factor up in Seattle. What I'm saying is let's not get into some lame pissing contest with Seattle's fans talking about the number of decibles produced by our fans on Sunday. Let's not entertain the same topic that we critize the Cumsawk fans for constantly bragging about.
Also given the design of their stadium, it will be a pissing contest we're bound to lose.

This is interesting because I was listening to New Orleans homer play-by-play of their game vs. Carolina on my siriusxm iphone app driving home Sunday night and their sideline reporter kept coming on to give updates on the decibel level during the game. They were supposedly trying to at least set a Superdome record for crowd noise. Anyway I remember the guy saying 127 or 128 a couple times during the 1st half so they were still 10 decibels below what Clink field has reached. They may have surpassed that if the Saints hadn't built a big lead, but that's probably the highest it got. Candlestick was pretty damn loud relative to a Superdome crowd.

Just FYI I am no dB master...but we use decibels in cellular communication as well...every 3 db is like double the volume.
So unless something is vastly diffrent between audible and inaudible wave lengths (voice vs cellular signals) 133db is twice the sound 130....
A ten db shift would be a massive swing in sound volume.

Before the crowd started to get really loud they showed the meter at 129 ...then everyone starts cheering and getting way louder then it was with no movement on the meter. Also when the crowd was at its loudest a couple of seconds right before the stop showing the meter the decibel level dropped around 10 points.
How can that happen when people were at their loudest point ?....it happened every time the showed the meter with a huge drop off at the end
I don't mind getting people pumped up ..but if it was real then we would set an all time never to be broken record if we had a dome or stadium like clink

btw, loud fans = fans having fun. So the louder it is at the game, the better it is.

It was loud enough that I could hear "Lets Go Seahawks" through the TV speakers. Really SF, Really?
