1---it looked like cinch niners would try to resign boldin after his 13 catch 200yard+ opener---now i think they will use that money to fill other needs
2----also, iupati's price has gone down alot---his play hasnt been as good and he is a guard, not left tackle or playmaker
49ers draft 2 WRs early in next years draft.
49ers draft a QB in middle rounds (probably would have happened w/o Kap's struggles)
49ers sign a veteran QB to "aid" Kap's development. NOTE: This QB is not brought in to challenge him, but to help provide guidance, kinda like Mark Brunell did for Sanchez's 1st few years.

I would be good with all that happening.

Iupati will get what he wants in FA. Brown probably won't.
Crabtree atm is rolling in money right now. That could change though depending on how effective he is to finish the season.
If the offense still stinks then all bets are off for everybody.
Miller should get a good deal too. Cully prob get a nice little extension too as we're shallow at DB.
so he'll walk then. we're talking about the same guy who wouldnt re-structure his contract on the super bowl champs and basically said he'd retire before trimming salary. their move was to trade him and he was shocked by it.
Yes but his issue was about the team honoring his existing contract. He won't have an existing contract.

Not crazy about Iupati long-term, I think we could do better, he's not really a 50/50 guy, we need a pass-protector to supplement Staley on that strong left side.

Staley is a good guy to have on the outside for a new guy. Goodwin not so much. He's getting pushed around too much.
Would be interesting to see if Looney could fill in for either LG or C.

that is the first thing i thought of when i heard he had his little fit sunday,
Same here, obviously he's not happy there. Could've easily said I want to stay in Houston. But I doubt we can fit his contract

That's what I was thinking. He wants out of the Texans.

These picks would be completely wasted unless we have a new OC, QB and WR coaches. We would have the same insanity going on next year.

This is a good thread, because our coaches stupidity, and the NFL's stupidity, and our player's stupidity might actually help us in the long run.
1) Kap will be cheaper.
2) Aldon Smith will be cheaper.
3) Iupati will be cheaper.
Crabs injury also causes him to be cheaper as well. Combine this with the chicken s**t offense we run, and the price might come down even more.
So in the long run, we are looking at a new stadium, Roman won't be in it, but Kap, Aldon, Iupati and Crabtree might. That sounds pretty good to me.

I think that was because he felt insulted they would ask him that after he carried that offense through the playoffs and Superbowl. Flacco ended up getting the contract when it was Boldin who was making play after play in 50/50 situations. Not saying Flacco didn't have any part of that run but without Boldin's beast mode performances, the Ravens most likely lose the Superbowl (that 4th down catch over Rogers) and maybe even in the earlier rounds.
