all of your bullet points have no connection to ck not knowing whats going on on the field during the game like time outs, running out of bounds, etc etc. I hate roman more than anyone but even i just can not put a big blanket over this, ck has got to share the blame.
things you bring up aren't exclusive to kap. not knowing timeout situation i can say ok sure he should have known we didn't have any left. however what is roman doing that takes him so long to always get the play in on time. it would be fine is kap didn't have to try to read the defense and make adjustments. in the same game even on a 4th down play the saints had the play called were to the line and had 20 seconds to make any and all adjustments needed...
kap literally has 10 seconds when he gets to the line and i doubt it's because he can't read the plays off of his play sheet as others have alluded to (intelligence)
even on the vernon non td pass, he got to the line and saw the blitz coming but didn't even have time to make the proper adjustments before the snap.. he has to tell goodwin to snap it in a frantic manner so that they don't take the penalty.. and this has been going on since day 1
another timeout taken because the practice squad guy didn't know where he was supposed to line up on the play.. kap was trying to get him to go to the proper place but he was lost and had to take a timeout.. why was the practice guy even in the game?
running out of bounds he was wrong and should have slid there's no defense for that.
but everything else is direct correlation. after the snap you make the quick decisions but that's why you need time before the snap in order to be confident and make the right call....
play over they shuffle in the 6 people per down they usually do. then he decides what he wants to call kap gets it calls out the long string of crap that roman told him. get's to the line to survey the field and it's already down to 10 seconds.. so if the defense has the right call.. too bad.. if he needs to audible... can't really do it.
can't really succeed like that especially when the coordinator would rather use decoy te's and practice squad tight ends instead of 2 wr's or even 3 of them.
the offense isn't designed to pass the ball strictly off of personnel that's on the field most we can see that..
there's a time and place for 2te's and a fb. and that time isn't 71% of the entire game...in which you only run gore 13 times... and the rest you're literally out there with a te that could be a wr as a receiving option and a fb that could be another wr as a receiving option...
they keep bringing up he's only throwing it to boldin. boldin is the only wr that stays on the field for majority of the game.. who else can he build chemistry with... why do you think he can throw it to boldin and davis and find miller... because they're the only ones on the field
