I hope the Buccs lose in over time to the Saints. So, right before the game starts the Cardinals get a major mind f**k, come out flat, and lose.

They could win 11 games and miss the playoffs, that just ain't right. The NFL can't really do much about it at this point, except for re-align back to 2-3 divisions.

I'd be pissed a f**ked if that ever happened to the Niners (closest was the 10-win team that finished 3rd in 1991 in the old NFCW and missed out on the playoffs)
Get rid of meaningless divisions/division titles altogether....top 6 teams in each conference record wise advance and are seeded thusly (with tie-breakers)

This team has the feel of a magical Superbowl team. Like the Ravens of last year, 4th and 29 miracle.

Looks like they moved the Saints and Bucs game to the afternoon so that the 49ers vs Cardinals game will have meaning.
Well that sucks.
Well that sucks.

Bay Area Sports Guy @BASportsGuy1m
Vernon Davis told me he got poked in his right eye. It's still a little sore, but nothing serious.

Putting my record on the line, going to the game next week, 49ers are 22-0 thus far in games I've gone to. I'm a bit scurred but the stadium will be packed with 49ers fans, should be fun.

too f**king bad it's not good enough. maybe they shouldn't have lost to the eagles or the rams or any of their other 5 losses. this happens everytime a 10 or 11 win team misses the playoffs. everyone controls their own destiny at the start of the season and they just didn't get it done if they miss the playoffs. unfortunate, because they are playing so well, but thems the breaks!

Meh, 49ers are one stupid ass penalty away from being 12-3 right now and being in first place for homefield throughout the advantage. Those Panthers and Saints games are looming large indeed right now.

One thing the NFL has considered is a 7 team playoff with only the top seed getting a bye. I like it! Additionally, the team with the best record should host the game. You shouldn't get double rewarded for winning a weak division by getting homefield as well.
