SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS VS SEATTLE SEAHAWKS GAMEDAY THREAD (WEEK 14)

they have the most self conscious fan base i swear, i guess thats what happen when your the laughing stock of the nfl for so long, they get a little taste of winning here and there and mind you still no titles, and they think they the best ever and are quick to attack if someone says otherwise.

This, permanent victim mentality, it comes from insecurity, their only successful championship winning sports franchise abandoned them for less green pastures, I can understand why they suffer from a massive inferiority complex, thereby acting all passive-aggressive as a result.

haha reading from page one is hilarious. Lots of people had little faith in this game.

I wonder how many non shehawk fans think this win was a fluke or just luck.

The media sure seems to think like that. No respect

Incorrect. If the whistle is blown for forward progress being stopped, the play is not reviewable, challengeable, or able to be overturned (see: 2011 season NFCCG)

Wrong. The side judge clearly indicated by touching his rear that he ruled Crabtree's butt was on the ground. They only came up with the "forward progress stopped" to cover their mistake. And thank goodness they did, because that should have been called a fumble.

It doesn't matter if the referee slapped his ass or thrust his hips forward or jumped up and down and made monkey sounds. The referees antics don't determine any ruling. Not even their announcement to the fans determines the ruling. The ruling is determined by their announcement to the head official, which is almost never heard on TV.

He thought that his butt was ALSO down, therefore making it a moot point, so he told the player, "butt down anyway, so it doesn't matter".

Just because he was wrong about the butt being down, doesn't take away from the fact that you are not allowed to hold a player up and rip the ball away in the NFL.

I'm shocked by that stat. I still worry. He fights for every yard which is good but sometimes I wonder if one or two yards is worth the possibility of a turnover.

Yes what he does is he sets a tone of physicality throughout the game. Its what I've called for. If refs won't call the holding and grabbing then we need to push shove and hit back and hit first. Wear out a very frail Dick Sherman

Boldin too.
So much win in this thread. Thank you, Webzone.
Seahawk fans flew a 12th man banner over the Stick... some Niner fans just reached their goal to put up this billboard in Seattle. YES.

"We are looking to raise about 7-8k to keep our ad there for at least 1 month, all during December and some of January for their playoff games...The goal will give us 4 weeks of ad placement."

Awesome
Still think this is stooping to their stupid level. Rather see the money donated to a charity in the name of 49er fans.

Seattle's childrens hospital comes to mind, they do alot of good work there and anything for kids works for me. Start them off right cheering for the right team, "Go 9ers"
