Well I'm sure Torrey will convince him to comeback if he needs any convincing, but all up to Chip and Baalke. I don't care how old he is, the guy is tough as they come and catches pretty much everything. We don't need Boldin to be a threat downfield anyway, just need him to catch the short to intermediate routes. Need him for the 2nd and 8's or 3rd and 5's.

Getting rid of Boldin would be a huge mistake.

I agree, I would love to have Boldin back.
Same. I haven't really seen him slump, and he still punks a good amount of DBS. I know ppl see his age, but if ppl were looking at what he's produced on our team so far and he was say 27 years old?, the thread would be how do we resign him to a deal and not do we resign him at all? I think ppl get too hung up on certain players' age.

Thats exactly what I was thinking to. Honestly I think both those guys will thrive in Kelly's system anyway.

Would love to keep him on his leadership and locker room value alone plus I think he still has a good year or two left in him

2 yr, 8mil sounds reasonable. Player option for that second. He may choose to retire after next year.
