According to that he's fine and it's a strain. I dont know if he will be out at all but you would think at most he'd be back by week 10 or 11 at the latest.

Maybe the article I looked at is old because you're right I see 2 of them that say partial tear and he will have surgery after the season. It says he expects to play Sunday but honestly if he is ineffective we could see a lot of subbing out and TJE and Dobbs getting time. Then later on Carradine as well. Could be a platoon of guys and once Carradine is up to speed (since no practice or games played yet) he should take over that backup spot.

Interesting,
The Raiders signed a DT, and we need one for depth purposes.
Hurry, rooks, hurry!

Any word on this yet? They said questionable but he hasn't played again and it looked like they started playing RayMac at nose.

Dial and Carradine are going to be playing. This team doesn't have the luxury to let them "redshirt."

I know Dial hasn't practiced or played at all but at this point might have to just throw him in there at 340-350 and say eat space. TJE is a DE not a NT. Same with Dobbs. I'm drafting a DE in the 3rd or so next year. McDonald, Dorsey/Dial, Smith/Carradine, Williams (Backup NT/Backup DE), 3rd Round Pick DE

Nose tackle Glenn Dorsey went out early with a hamstring injury. Dorsey was playing very well this season. He was jogging on the sideline, so perhaps the injury will not be overly serious.
Hoping this means that Dorsey only has a minor injury.
