since we lost another good player that could of helped us down the road especially with the fact that we have some big contracts coming up and will not have the money to spread around anymore I have to question why we would have so many special teams only players..i dont see how we lose guys like cooper and daniels but yet bubba ventrone, kassim Osgood and Nate stupar are still on the team..i dont see why we didn't at least keep Daniels and drop one of those 3..we would still have plenty of special teamers without one of the them..especially ventrone!!

Maybe you didn't see how bad our special teams was last year. Having a solid ST is a lot more important than having bench warmers who won't even dress on game day.

what happen last year when we got rid of our ST studs? yeah that's what i thought.
the game is won with three core units...offense, defense and special teams.
ST role players >>>>> 3rd string position players

What are people expecting in Daniels a 7th round pick to only play pre-season against 3rds and 4ths. We have a Qb that should be here for a very long time. While Daniels was going to be a #3 or PS players for quite some time. I would agree that we have a few to many "specialist" I would rather have a RB/Te/CB/S that can also play special teams. In my opinion Marlon Moore is wasting a roster spot. At Least Osgood does help on Special teams.

So our special teams would fall apart without bubba ventrone!?! Get out of here..i bet that Harper guy is just as good as ventrone..we could have used Daniels.if McFadden can run and throw im sure Daniels could have too..i just think there was value in Daniels and I think our team did too..thats why we didn't cut him during final cuts..we were scared to lose him.

You got it all wrong, Kyle Williams is wasting a roster spot. Moore has never been given the chances to play WR. Williams gets all the reps, and sucks at it.

Another quality thread
Have you seen our ST compared to last years play. Bubba is all over the place, you can't miss the dude with all that hair. I'm quietly confident that one or 2 of these guys will be replaced when we have guys coming back in the coming weeks. Tank, MM, Crabtree later. Possibly Wright & Dial?

Last year our coverage units were garbage along with akers, thus far only kw and akers Cleveland style are garbage on ST.
