49ers claimed QB McLeod Bethel-Thompson off waivers from Vikings and, to make room for him, waived QB John Skelton.

Now this is a major WTF move. After being excited about Skelton they wave him.

WTF is right! All these moves to end up with Bethel what's his name who couldn't even make it in the Arena League? And the Seahawks have Daniels? I say again, WTF?!

Rumor has it, Harbaalke only made this move for no other reason than (they thought he had a catchy name)

Harbonehead again

Maybe he was confused and thought he was signing a law firm to help Aldon Smith out?

More Like Jeff George.. Wait aint George our starter. Nevermind.............
Well next week its gotta be someone that resembles the Titans QB now since J.Locker is injured. Last week was Skeleton for Schaub, couple of weeks before that was Daniels for Wilson.
I have never seen us discard so many Qb's in one season lol
No way this guy lasts more than two weeks! Gonna get discarded before we learn to pronounce his name!
So we cut McLeod in 2011 to sign Scott Tolzien. We then cut Tolzien to make room for BJ Daniels (who I was excited about). We then say bye bye to Daniels for Skelton. And of course, we cut ties with Skelton to bring back McLeod...

The f**k...

Damn, you nailed it!!
The reserves are here...start practicing tomorrow...Tank, Dial, Wright and maybe, Manningham?

Harbaugh: Carradine, Dial among four injured players to join practice on Tuesday

Jim Harbaugh had no update on nose tackle Glenn Dorsey and his injured hamstring at his noon press conference. Dorsey left the game in the first quarter after straining to run down 199-pound running back Andre Ellington. He had to be helped off the field but later was seen moving around without a limp.Harbaugh said the plan remains for three of the players on the non-football injury list, Quinton Dial, Tank Carradine and Eric Wright, to begin practicing with the team for the first time on Tuesday. At that point, there is a three-week window to sign them to the 53-man roster. The same goes for receiver Mario Manningham, who is on the physically-unable-to-perform list.Dorsey's injury may put pressure on Dial, a fifth-round pick, to contribute quickly.

Meanwhile, Ray McDonald obviously was affected by his biceps injury. That might create a need for Carradine, a second-round pick, to play defensive end.Harbaugh was optimistic on Sunday that Dial could be ready for next week's game in Nashville. He struck a more cautious tone today. He said the players involved could be anywhere from 100 percent of where they were to 60 percent. "There's a process once they come back (to practice) to being ready to compete in games," Harbaugh said. "Then the final step is, they've got to be better than somebody. They've got to be better than somebody at their position."

The 49ers also could elevate practice-squad player Mike Purcell, a nose tackle who spent the full offseason with the team, to the active roster. Harbaugh declined to discuss that option, saying only, "Mike's doing a good job."Et cetera - Harbaugh said the 49ers have a plan for running back LaMichael James, who was a healthy scratch on Sunday, and that James will contribute just as he did last year. "That time will come again," Harbaugh said. He said the 49ers sometimes will have three running backs in uniform, sometimes four, depending on the opponent. The Cardinals, obviously, were a three-running-back opponent. James was a healthy scratch all of last season, his rookie year, until Kendall Hunter suffered an Achilles' tear on Nov. 25.* The 49ers signed offensive lineman Al Netter, who spent the 2012 season on the practice squad, back to the practice squad. Another offensive lineman, Patrick Omameh, was picked up by the Buccaneers.* Harbaugh said the ongoing government shutdown caused "one or two" issues with obtaining passports for the 49ers players. But he said the team was "working through" those issues. The 49ers will travel to London on October 21 and play the Jaguars on Oct. 27.* Harbaugh said he initially thought Colin Kaepernick made a bad decision on the throw to Bruce Miller that was intercepted on the goal line. The throw was tipped, however, and Harbaugh said he thought it would have resulted in a touchdown had it not been deflected. He gave high marks to to Kaepernick, Anthony Davis, Anquan Boldin and Vernon Davis.-- Matt Barrows

for trade deadline...
Marlon Moore waived.
Sounds like Manningham, Aldon, and Eric Wright could all be active soon.
