Good call :-). Thanks. So the question is, who is going to be numbers 6-10? Maybe even 7-10, because I'm going Bill Walsh, Joe Montana, Eddie DeBartolo, Jerry Rice, Steve Young, and Ronnie Lott.

I wonder if Gore or Willis make it. Tall order because only 10 spots.

If it's entire history of the franchise, then there will have to be a couple from the likes of YA Tittle, Hugh McElhenny, Joe Perry, John Henry Johnson, Leo Nomellini, Dave Wilcox, Cedrick Hardman...there's more, but point being 49er greats / history didn't start in 1981, although obviously the SB years will have the most.

#7-10 Dwight Clark, John Taylor, and Harris barton. Willis will be a top 10 49er when he retires.

I think as of now Gore would be in the top 10 before Willis and that's if either of them make it. Willis will probably be in at the end of his career but I wouldn't put hinm in yet.

I'm shocked that Bill Walsh isn't on the list. If I heard that lady right, she asked why there aren't any coaches on the list early in the show.
And oh yeah, listening to Gregg Rosenthall I can see why he is such a punk. Clearly the nerdy kid who got picked on by the football team and now he is taking out his revenge by trolling everyone.
