No this only helps the niners. Jags are dead last in rushing offense and defense and rain and wind forces teams to run the ball. The niners are no where near their rush defense of the past couple of years (has a lot to do with injuries) but we are stout against the run and are 3rd in rushing offense. So I would say a good windy rainy day will really hurt the Jags.

If rainny conditions? This will give our oline, miller, davis, mcdonald a great pressence in the run game!!!

This will be a blowout, but I expect at least 10 garbage points from the Jags in the final quarter, book it.

49ers beat the old 1994 record, and become first squad in franchise history to win 5 straight while putting up 30+, and only allowing -20.

49ers 37
Jags 10

I like this, tho any W is a W would be an awesome team accomplishment for sure! We have had a few of recent yrs! My personal fav 300-300 pass n rushing yards!

70mph? Are they still allowed to play under those conditions? Thats a tropical storm almost a category 1 hurricane wind speed. If Andy Lee punts with the wind he might punt it out of the stadium, and Phil Dawson might be able to kick a 99 yd FG. Record breaking day for the special team specialists. Cool.

YES!!!

Although, no win has ever meant the most for me than that one in Philly two years ago. -That was the 'game', you could feel it.

That comeback at halftime was epic! I also was pretty partial to the saints playoff game. Gore, alex, willis, davis, the guys who been here for a long time got that playoff win! Loved seeing it. And no last seasons playoff run aint less appreciated :) kaep and the O doing their thing, was beautiful as well!

In the 2012 playoffs, our O was carrying the team. In 2011, our D was the star. If we can ever put the 2011 D and the 2012 O together,
no one can stop us from bringing home #6. Maybe this is the year ...

As long as we don't have to play in Seattle.

We beat them in Seattle in 2011, even when our O was less explosive than our 2012 version.

THIS!! I remember the MOMENT during that game that I began to feel it. It was in the 3rd quarter after we'd just scored our first TD (Smith to Morgan). On the third play of Philly's next series . . . it was 3rd and short and Vick started to scramble to his right for what looked like an easy first down. Bowman came flying out from the middle and made a jaw dropping play on Vick down for no gain. Not only was it the first glimpse at how good Bowman could be, but it flipped the momentum on a dime. Philly punted, we scored again and you could definitely "feel it".

Yes but to their credit their QB wasn't Russell just as ours wasn't Kap and our defense in 2011 was gangbusters. I think this years defense is going to be the best at years end along with SEA. Our offense and ST should be just a smidge better than theirs once we add Mario and MC15 even if MC15 isn't 100 percent because we have rediscovered the run and Kap will have 3 studs to throw the ball to in Crab VD and Boldin

I know it was awesome to see, tho sucked for our injuries! But our offense picked up the slack to speak and ran with it. If we can get all cylinders going at once oooh man, no one would wanna play us! Our own team wouldnt wanna play us lmao! We have a great team now. Starting to recover from the inj bug. Aldon coming back as well, which is kinda weird? It usually goes when 2nd half of season hits is when we are losing people. Or should i say teams lose people. We are getting healthy for the 2nd stretch!!!
Gotta love it
Goniners
I really hope the 49ers don't try to use too many "new" personnel against the jags. If Tank is working his way into the lineup then play him. If Mario is earning playing time then play him. Despite the record there are no easy games in the nfl. This offense isn't consistent enough to try too many things new.
I really hope they don't overuse Gore this Sunday, maybe 8-10 carries, and have Hunter carry the load this week. We need Gore to be healthy in the second half of the season going into playoffs.

Weather channels website has the forcast as 58 degrees, 60% chance of rain, with winds of 20MPH. Not calling for the nasty winds until Monday. All of that is likely to change however, as the weather guessers are seldom right more than a few hours out.

Still 20MPH winds, hope Kaep has been working on the underneath stuff. Wait, with his rocket arm, does 20mph really affect it? Kicking game could be an issue however, need TD's, not long FG attempts. And maybe this is the one week where 18 Fair Catches isnt such a bad thing.

It's still a game against an NFL opponent guys.....we can't just sit our starters and expect a W. I like many hope the game is locked up by the fourth and our guys are on the bench, but 10 carries might be a little tough.
