i believe jeff ulbrich is there, or at least he was when carroll first got there

It makes me sad to see Ken Norton on the sidelines of our arch enemy.

Just picture him as Dallas Cowboys Ken Norton
PFF numbers on the Jacksonville Jaguars

Top 3 Performers on Offense

1. Austin Pazor-OL 2.7 Very good at pass blocking, an exceptional pass blocker, lousy run-blocker
2. Justin Blackmon-WR 2.5 Self-explanatory, highly talented WR, dangerous offensive threat.

3. Clay Harbor-TE 1.5 Not much of a threat as a receiver but an exceptional blocker.

Worst 3 Performers on Offense

1. Will Rackley-OL -20.8 Just a flat out horrible offensive lineman, simple as that.

2. Chad Henne-QB -5.0 Has had some decent games, but gets turnover happy at times, still a better option than Gabbert. The first QB that the 49ers are facing with a negative rating this bad.

3. Ace Sanders WR -3.3 Speedy but drop happy receiver, mostly a special teams threat.

Top 3 Performers on Defense

1. Will Blackmon-CB 7.1 Has been very solid, his performance has not suffered even with a lousy secondary around him.

2. Russell Allen-LB 3.2 Has been very good in pass coverage for a linebacker.

3. Sen'Derrick Marks-DL 1.8 Very good pass rusher, hasn't held up against the run very well.

Worst 3 Performers on Defense

1. Jonathan Cyprien-SS -18.6 Has had about as bad of a rookie season as you could imagine, tremendous liability in pass coverage.

2. Tyson Alalu-DL -10.0 Solid run stuffer, has brought absolutely nothing as a pass rusher this season.

3. Josh Evans-FS -7.3 Another rookie safety, has struggled in pass coverage as well.

This is a game that on paper the 49ers should win walking away. Jacksonville is absolutely beleaguered and has major weaknesses up and down the roster. The 49ers should be able to run the ball down their throats, this could also be a good game to practice airing it out deep downfield due to the major weakness that the Jaguars have at both safety spots. Their pass rush is also lacking and Blackmon is the only member of their secondary who has played well at all. On offense, they do like to go downfield, they have a big play wide receiver in Blackmon who is the real, they also have a solid TE in Clay Harbor and of course MJD who is always a threat, especially in the depleted state of the 49ers DL. Hope to see some timely blitzes from Fangio as Henne's already low QB rating drops almost 15 points whenever he's blitzed.

Ultimately if the 49ers play their game, run the ball, play smart defense, they should win this easily.
LOL the only 'trap' in this game will be the Jags trapped in the f**king airport the moment the plane leaves home without them.
Good post phoenix. So what you are saying is, they suck real bad.

our teams had talent at least

aside from blackmon, i see no one on that jags team

MJD ?

now he is meh

Doesn't help that he has the worst offensive line in the league blocking for him.

Phoenix was wondering what our top 3 and worst 3 are. Also wondered what Carlos Rogers is grading out. I'm to cheap to buy the membership.

And that's why I'm not a GM cause I was on the Cyprien bandwagon lol

It was already mentioned during todays game by the announcers how the Jaguars have a following there

That was some of the silliest, most pathetically transparent hype I've ever heard, and they kept at it.

Fact 1. British NFL fans are hardcore. We stay up till 5 am to watch SNF/MNF as neutrals (and of course when our team are playing). We pay 130-odd quid per year for Gamepass. We know our s**t. We know a clunker when they see one. And the Jugs are arguably worse than the 0-16 Lions right now (who at least played some teams tight that year).

Fact 2. British NFL fans generally go way back, generally to the 80s and the days of Channel 4 highlight shows. We already have teams!!! We follow them passionately. Some of us (guilty as charged) pay thousands of pounds and travel thousands of miles to watch them play live in the US. Goodell and the owners should think hard before they put a hapless franchise here and see their few fans outnumbered by 9ers, Broncos, Pats, Cowboys , Giants, Dolphins, Packers and Steelers fans. Because these are the popular teams here because of their history. What history has Jax ever had? They are a mid-90s expansion team, have sucked through most of their history with the exception of that couple of competitive seasons 6-7 years ago.

Fact 3. Because the Jugs are so terrible in this and every year, Sky Sports hardly ever pick them for their Sunday slate of games.

Fact 4. Jax have never played here before. This will be their first appearance at Wembley.

So, no TV, no history, no live games, no bandwagoneering. How the bleedin' 'ell did they acquire a "following"?

We should easily dominate the stands on Sunday. There will certainly be lots of other "neutral" fans representing the Pats, Dolphins, Cowboys etc, but of the two teams playing, we should outnumber Jax fans 10-1 at least.

Blimey, the idea that the Jaguars have a following is bullocks. Everything should be tickety-boo when the 49ers fans dominate the crowd.

And it could just be a case of the players around him. Ried has a great supporting cast and a vet at the other safety spot. Cyprien well not so much
